Clione is a character created by YonKaGor. They are featured in the song So Long.

Personality

Clione is presented as an angelic ticket inspector of a train to the afterlife. They are very reassuring to the passengers on the train. They are portrayed as a godlike figure, not fully understanding emotions, yet still wishing the best to passengers.

Appearance

Clione is a white furry cat with vibrant blue accents on their hair. Their inner eyes are a bright blue with pale orange pupils, their paws similarly being blue with orange pads. They also resemble the appearance of a sea angel. Their tail has a gradient that starts as white and turns orange near the tip. A halo rests behind their head, possessing a layered design has two solid lines encompass a dotted line, 12 additional, smaller lines coming out from the outmost layer.

Trivia

Clione was likely inspired by their namesake, the clione, more commonly known as the sea angel, as well as having design aspects like their halo that are inspired by a more literal angel.
Clione's halo has 12 extensions, reminiscent of the tick marks on a clock, a symbol seen commonly within So Long.
Strangely, Clione's chibi design lacks their halo.
Clione's teaser image lead to a community inside joke that their song was going to be "Fish ! ~ Revisit".^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12]

Before the teaser image was posted, YonKaGor had posted a joke poll asking if they should make "Fish ! ~ Revisit".^[13]
Another likely origin for this in-joke had to do with the similarity with the teaser and the character that appears in Fish !.

Biased Truth's outfit is inspired by the outfit Yon wore when performing the song live a year before.
